History
Allen has Cerebral Palsy and Mild Developmental disabilities. He has no known family and was raised in one facility or another. He has been with S.T.E.P. since 1998. Before he came to STEP he lived in a residential nursing facility called The Gardens for a number of years. Before that he was at Sonoma Developmental Center.
Current
Allen now enjoys the freedom that supported living has given to him. He has around-the-clock staff that is there to encourage and assist him in his life. Allen works at Discovering Options day program. He loves hanging out with his friends at Starbucks or the bowling alley. He enjoys shopping, concerts and other community events. Allen has a very busy social life and like being able to decide when and where he spends his time.
